Thrie-Beam™ has an added corrugation that gives an advantage for use in transitions to bridges and along high volume, high speed roadways.


Thrie-Beam™ is roll formed from coil steel and sheared to length. It is then punched, slotted to suit the particular configuration and hot dip galvanised in accordance with AS/NZS 3845.

Thrie-Beam™ is available ex-stock in standard effective lengths of 4.00 metres and 2.00 metres.


Curved Thrie-Beam™

The standard straight section will align to give a smooth transition on curved with a radius greater than 45m. Pre-curved Thrie-Beam™ is required for tighter radii and may be curved to traffic face concave or convex.

Thrie-Beam features 'three' waves across its section versus 'two' on W-Beam and therefore provides greater rigidity, which in turn means lower deflections and higher containment that is more suitable for heavier vehicle protection.
